BRITA Meter monitors the filtration performance and indicates the remaining cartridge life. The 3-way measurement takes into consideration the volume of water filtered, water quality (hardness) and time.
After activating the MAXTRA cartridge press the ”START” button for approx. six seconds until all four bars appear in the display and ”O.K.” flashes.
As long as your display shows ”O.K.” the MAXTRA cartridge filters with optimum performance. The percentage in each bar of your display indicates the remaining capacity of your MAXTRA cartridge. Water drops that recurrently flash from top to bottom indicate an actively processing filtration.
If the empty cartridge symbol “NEW” flashes, you should now exchange the MAXTRA cartridge.
