Intenza 4-Step Filtration
Depending on the type of machine, the water filter cartridge Intenza is inserted directly into or next to the water tank of the machine. Intenza offers freshly filtered water on demand when preparing a cup of coffee.
The innovative Intenza technology is based upon a pump through mechanism in four steps:
Step 1 Intensive Pre-Filtration The water flows through a fine mesh filter.
Step 2 Ion Exchange Filtration It reduces limescale (carbonate hardness), aluminium and certain heavy metals (like lead and copper).
Step 3 Activated Carbon Filtration It reduces substances that affect smell and taste such as chlorine and organic impurities as well as certain pesticides.
Step 4 Intensive Final Filtration The special fine mesh filter retains the particle mixture.
