Quality standardsIn order to ensure the high quality of BRITA's products, filter cartridges, raw materials and finished products are permanently being checked and tested for established quality requirements in BRITA's factory. In addition products are constantly tested by independent institutes and scientists.
The TÜV SÜD regularly inspects the original BRITA filter cartridge as well as the whole water filter system and certifies perfect food quality.
All over the world BRITA is regularly monitored by eminent laboratories and institutions.
BRITA consults universities in questions of security of its products. In this field BRITA consulted/consults for example with:
- the University of Jerusalem, Israel,
- the University of Frankfurt, Germany.
- the University of Pittsburgh, USA.
